Drink More Water

What’s the most important pre-workout you take? Spark, SFH-PUSH, a Monster, a Red Bull or a cup of coffee?? Some people take these pre-workouts religiously before a workout.  BUT what you should be drinking more of than anything before exercising is…….WATER!!  Just simple water will have an effect on your body more then anything that you can purchase at the nutrition store.  Proper hydration is key before your workout.

Think about this, it’s July, you are in the garage, you are gonna sweat MORE than usual…you NEED to drink more fluids! If you want to take it a step further, monitor the color of your urine beforehand. The goal is pale yellow, not clear.

Two hours before you workout, drink 2 cups (8 oz.) of fluid. This gives your kidneys enough time to process the liquids, giving you sufficient time to empty your bladder before the start of your workout. You don’t want to have to stop in the middle of your workout and run inside to use the restroom.

Not only do we want our body’s to look healthy on the outside with our workout routine we want the inside of our bodies just as healthy!  Keep your kidneys and other organs healthy and performing at their highest capacity by drinking more water!!!
